This study identifies interfacial mass-transport limitations as the primary power bottleneck in polysulfide flow batteries. An interfacial engineering strategy, employing a cationic catalyst to neutralize surface repulsion, is proposed to increase reaction rates by two orders of magnitude, achieving high-power performance and exceptional long-term cycling stability for grid-scale storage.
