Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using PulseAggregator ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users including free, Pro, and Agency accounts.
2. Description of Service
PulseAggregator aggregates publicly available news articles from third-party sources and provides search, filtering, alerting, and digest functionality. We do not produce original journalism. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
3. User Accounts
You must provide a valid email address when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account at hello@pulseaggregator.com.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to: scrape, crawl, or data-mine the Service itself; attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication, or plan restrictions; resell access to the Service without a written white-label agreement; use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or regulation; or distribute content from the Service in a way that infringes the copyright of original publishers.
5. Paid Plans and Billing
Paid plans (Pro and Agency) are billed monthly. Payments are processed by PayHere. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.
6. Refunds
We offer refunds within 7 days of a charge if you have not used the paid features. To request a refund, contact hello@pulseaggregator.com with your order ID. Refunds are at our discretion after the 7-day window.
7. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your plan will downgrade to Free at the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged again after cancellation. Cancellation does not entitle you to a prorated refund for the current period.
8. Intellectual Property
The PulseAggregator platform, design, and code are owned by us. Article content displayed through the Service remains the property of original publishers. Your use of the Service does not grant you ownership of any content. The Service's API may be used to access your own data within your plan limits.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided without warranty. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any news content. We are not responsible for decisions made based on content from the Service. Article content reflects the views of original publishers, not PulseAggregator.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PulseAggregator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
11. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Colombo, Sri Lanka.
